Step 1: How to work out the width
Measure the flat width between two rod supports(brackets). Please don’t consider the pleat. The extra pleat calculation & consumption we will take care.
Place the measuring tape from one end of your curtain rod to the other end. Only measure the area where curtains will be placed.
For Example: If you have total 5 Fit (60 Inch) wide Space, You will need 5 yard (5*36 = 180″) Fabrics. There will be 2 Curtains in each curtain width will be Around 90 Inch.
Number of Kuci Needs in Standard Measurement is:
1 Fit = 3 Kuci & 1 Fit = 1 yard Fabrics
Step 2: How to work out the height
Always measure from the top of the curtain pole considering 1.3 inches(amount of fabric above the eyelet hole).

And keep From 2″ above from Floor for height

Tips!
If you don’t have a curtain pole up yet, measure approx 6 inches above the window and use this as a guide for where the curtain track will be.
Mount the curtain rod higher than the window frame and extend it beyond the sides to create the illusion of taller ceilings, larger windows, and a wider window when curtains are open.
For a formal, elegant look, choose floor-length curtains that lightly touch the floor. For a casual, relaxed vibe, opt for curtains that hang just below the window sill.
Choose wider curtains that provide fullness when closed for a luxurious and elegant appearance. Ensure they can be fully drawn across the window for optimal light control and privacy.
Sheer curtains can be used as a lightweight option to allow natural light while maintaining privacy. Adding heavier curtains on top provides additional light control and insulation.
